WJM Social Care Ltd is developing services for adults aged 18–65 with mild learning disabilities, mild physical disabilities and mild mental-health support needs.
Every referral is considered individually. We only agree to provide support where we are satisfied that we can meet the person's needs safely and appropriately.
REGISTRATION STATUS
CQC application status: WJM Social Care Ltd is currently applying to the Care Quality Commission for registration to provide the regulated activity of Personal Care. Regulated personal-care services will not commence until registration has been granted.
Our Current Service Focus — Support designed around assessed needs
01 Mild Learning Disabilities
Person-centred support that promotes independence, daily-living skills, choice and participation in ordinary community life.
02 Mild Physical Disabilities
Support with personal care, mobility-related daily activities and maintaining independence where needs remain within WJM's competence.
03 Mild Mental-Health Support Needs
Support with everyday wellbeing, routines, confidence and independence, alongside appropriate health and social-care professionals where required.
Assessment Before Acceptance — We need to understand the whole person
Before deciding whether WJM can safely meet someone's needs, we complete an individual assessment.
Where appropriate, the assessment may involve the person, their representative, commissioners and relevant health and social-care professionals.

Person-Centred Decisions
A referral is not accepted simply because a service is available.
We consider whether WJM can genuinely provide safe, person-centred support with the right staff, training, environment and contingency arrangements.
Current Service Boundaries — Knowing when another service is more appropriate
WJM may decline or refer a person to a more appropriate service where their needs require specialist skills, clinical interventions, staffing or risk-management arrangements that WJM cannot safely provide.
WJM is not currently presenting itself as:
- A specialist autism provider
- A nursing service
- A secure service
- A specialist severe mental-health service
- A specialist complex behavioural service

Supported Living
Person-centred care and support designed to help people maintain skills, make choices and live as independently as possible within their own home environment.
Domiciliary Care
Personal care and agreed daily-living support provided to people within their own homes according to an individual assessment and care plan.
