OUR SERVICES

Support matched to assessed need.

Every service begins with an individual assessment. We take time to understand the person's needs, strengths, preferences, risks and the outcomes they would like to achieve.

WJM Social Care Ltd will only agree to provide support where we are satisfied that we have the appropriate staff, skills, competence and resources to meet the person's needs safely.

REGISTRATION STATUS

CQC application status: WJM Social Care Ltd is currently applying to the Care Quality Commission for registration to provide the regulated activity of Personal Care. Regulated personal-care services will not commence until registration has been granted.

01 · Personal Care — Respectful support with everyday personal care

Personal care is provided according to the individual's assessed needs, preferences and agreed care plan.

Our approach is to provide the level of assistance required while encouraging people to maintain as much independence as possible.

Support may include

02 · Overnight Support — Safe and planned overnight care

The type and level of overnight support will be determined through assessment and the person's individual care plan.

Sleep-in or waking-night support may be provided where this has been identified through assessment, agreed with the relevant person or commissioner and can be safely staffed.

Overnight arrangements will be clearly documented within the person's care plan and associated risk assessments.

03 · Medicines Support — Safe support with medicines

Where medicines support is required, the level of assistance will be identified through assessment and recorded within the person's care plan.

Medicines support will only be provided by staff who have received appropriate training and have been assessed as competent for the tasks they undertake.

Depending on assessed need, support may include

Independence

We support people to maintain and develop their abilities wherever possible.

Safety

Care is planned around assessed needs, risks and staff competence.

Our Service Scope — We only accept support we can provide safely

WJM's intended service is for adults aged 18–65 with mild learning disabilities, mild physical disabilities and mild mental-health support needs, subject to individual assessment.

Where a person's needs require specialist skills, clinical interventions or risk-management arrangements outside WJM's competence or service scope, we will not accept the package unless appropriate safe arrangements can be established.
